Yes, we welcome and encourage our members to sign-up for internal and external competitions. We have a range of internal competitions open to all members including mixed pairs, handicap and plate knockout cups and a season-long ladder competition. We also play in several north London competitions, both home and away.
Absolutely! At Muswell Hill Bowls Club, we understand that starting a new game can come with its challenges, and we're here to support you. We have experienced club members who are more than willing to provide one-to-one coaching to help you become acquainted with the game and feel confident on the green.
Arranging for a personal coaching session is easy! All you need to do is send a message using the Contact Us form expressing your interest. We'll get back to you promptly to make suitable arrangements that fit your schedule.
The Muswell Hill Bowls Club season starts in Mid April (weather permitting) and ends in September. The draft Calendar for 2026 is published in the Info for Members.
A Playing Member must be over 18 and on payment of the current subscription - see below - is entitled to the following benefits:

If you join too late in the year to be eligible for playing in the competitions (July or later), there is a reduced subscription for that year, and you will still be a New Member in the following year.
