Yes, we welcome and encourage our members to sign-up for internal and external competitions. We have a range of internal competitions open to all members including mixed pairs, open, handicap and plate knockout cups and a season-long ladder competition. NB - if you join as a Playing Member, you will automatically be entered into the Open and Handicap competitions unless you opt out. We also play in some north London competitions against other clubs, both home and away.

Absolutely! At Muswell Hill Bowls Club, we understand that starting a new game can come with its challenges, and we're here to support you. We have experienced club members who are more than willing to provide one-to-one coaching to help you become acquainted with the game and feel confident on the green. For any questions about membership, contact Jane Farrell at membership@muswellhillbowlsclub.co.uk

There are regular coaching sessions at the Club, currently on Wednesday mornings from 10:30am. Also, arranging for a personal coaching session is easy - just turn up to one of the open days or evenings and ask!

The Muswell Hill Bowls Club season starts in Mid April (weather permitting) and ends in September. The Calendar for 2026 is published in the Info for Members.
